Macy's new accpomlishment...

All of my kids have taken binkies...well some would say I force it but it is my sanity. Lately Macy doesn't want her's and that has really thrown me for a loop, she now wants to be held a lot more than she used to. But the last week or so she will be crying and I will be frantically looking for her binky and all the sudden she will be quite, and this is how I find her...

She will be sucking on her hand until she manages to find her thumb. I did the same thing when I was a baby and hope it won't become a habbit. But for right now it is pretty cute.

What I wake up to every morning...

I am so happy that this is what I get to wake up to every morning!

Yes, believe it or not she is always this happy! We really lucked out with her. I can't believe that Macy is 2 months old! She has been sleeping through the night for the past month, she goes to sleep between 8 and 9 then wakes up at 7am(needless to say I am a happy Mom). This is what she looks like every morning when I get her out of her crib. We love our Macy-Moo:)

Catching Up...

I have been a slacker about blogging and I have been meaning to post about Halloween and Macy's blessing. It all happened in one weekend and we were very, very busy to say the least. We had lots of family in town Friday night we got to have James, Olia, and Michael stay with us which was so nice. We haven't seen Michael since he was 3 weeks old, the boys were just in love with him and just couldn't leave him alone(sorry james and olia). Then on Halloween Dallas and Shauna came and stayed with us since the blessing was the next day. Thank goodness for Shauna, if she hadn't been there I wouldn't have any pictures to show:) My niece Taylor came trick-or-treating with us in our neighborhood, the kids got so much candy. I think we ran out with in the first 2 hours, there was a huge turn out this year!

I just love that they share the same birthday:)

The blessing was really wonderful! It was so nice to have so much family and friends there. John gave Macy a really wonderful blessing and she was really good while she was receiving it.Macy looked so cute in her blessing dress too, we found it at babies-r-us. Thank You to everyone that came and to those that helped make the luncheon possible:)

This was the first time that Grandma Leslie got
to meet her new granddaughter.

Trevor and Austin helping me get Macy dressed in her
blessing dress.

Austin and Michael really became little buddies while
they were here. We wish they lived closer so we could play
more often.

Happy Birthday John!

Yesterday was John's 27th birthday! We didn't get to eat his birthday dinner with him because of work, but he wanted to take the kids to get a sundae at McDonald's when he got home. Of course the second he walks in the door the boys tell him that we got him new ties:) Gotta love little boys. I am so grateful for a hard working Husband and a wonderful Father for my children. We miss John all day while he is at work and I probably call him way too much, but he is kind enough to humor me and indulge in a quick conversation with me:) Happy Birthday Babe!

A lot is going on...

Macy is now 1 month old and I just can't believe it! She is so cute and starting to smile, make little noises, and she is really starting to gain weight. We all are just in love with her and enjoy having her in our family. We are happy to be adjusted to having a baby and are now starting to be out and about all the time. I was brave enough to take all 4 kids with me to target, that was a huge accomplishment for me. John told me I was crazy to do it but I really had no other choice at the time, they were really good for me so I bought them a new Hot wheels car.
Dallin just got his school pictures back today and I just wanted to share them with everyone because they are so cute! He is still doing really well in school and he sings all the songs they learn in class. His favorite is The 3 Little Pigs, it is so cute how he sings it.
Trevor and Austin are so much fun and crack me up all day with the things they say. I can't believe they will be starting school next year.

3 Weeks Old

Macy is now over 3 weeks old and is doing really well. She is such a good baby and is loved more than she can imagine. She wakes up once a night and is very happy, so that makes mommy happy since I am getting more sleep than I had expected. Her brothers adore her and can't give her enough kisses, Daddy is already wrapped around her very tiny finger, and Mommy is just in love with her and loves that we get to have a sweet baby girl.
We are all adjusted to our new life and love it. I am doing really well with recovery from a c-section, I am probably doing more than I should but I do have 4 kids now. Dallin is doing great in school and couldn't love it more. He comes home with green cards all the time and loves doing his homework. Trevor and Austin love being home with Macy and Me. They play knights and Star Wars all day long and can't wait to go pick up Dallin from school. John is working very hard and is super busy with scouts. He enjoys the weekends that he gets to relax at home which don't happen very often. We are looking forward to getting to see family in a few weeks and having lots of first holidays for Macy.

We have been busy.

Macy is almost 2 weeks old now and she is such a good baby. She is very mild mannered and is very happy. I have been getting sleep and we are just adjusting to our new life with 4 kids. That is still weird to me that I have 4 kids. Dallin has been such a good boy and has been doing very well in school. His class won the PTA drive last week and had a pizza party on Friday that I was brave enough to go to. He also had his first awards assembly on Friday as well, he received "The Eagle" award which is for outstanding character and citizenship. Trevor and Austin are adjusting and I hope it won't be long before they are back to their old selves. It is a challenge to have 4 kids but I feel like John and I are doing a lot better than we thought we would. So hooray for us!

She looks just like Dallin did at this age.

I apologize for the poor quality I was in a hurry and forgot
to change the settings on the camera.
